Mackintosh Wall Calendar: Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868 1928) was a major influence on the architecture and design of the twentieth century. A gifted artist, designer, craftsman and architect, he is one of the key figures of the Arts & Crafts design movement in Britain and the flourish of Art Nouveau in Scotland. As part of a group of artists known as 'The Four' he helped develop the 'Glasgow' style. As is evident in this beautiful calendar, the pleasing mix of clean geometric lines and sweeping floral motifs means his work is a feast for the eyes while still retaining, in design and architecture, the ethos of function, quality and individual craftsmanship that was so important. Each image is accompanied by a piece of informative text about Mackintosh's life and works and both the cover and insides are dusted with glitter. EAN: 9780857753113
